He loves all his toys in his crib, following the nurses with his eyes and turning his head to see them, and most of all the ceiling lights. Theres so much I cant wait to show him at home.
The doctors started whats called compressed feedings. Cameron takes whatever he wants from the bottle and what he doesn't finish they put in a pump. That pump gives the rest of his feeding to him over the span of one hour. It has cut down on the spit up episodes. Cams doctors seem to know exactly what methods work and what ones don't. Its very comforting.
Physical milestones were hit today. At 4:00 pm his nurse took him off of the lipids he was receiving. He still has his pickline (an IV that trails up his arm and into a large vessel close to his heart) in because he needs the TPN. But later this week the TPN will no longer be needed. At that time they will take out his pickline! A few less cords to worry about will be nice! He is also up to 65 mls as of this morning. Only 10 more to go!!
I am so thankful for everyone who has been praying for Cameron and I. God has helped me become a stronger person and Cameron is getting very close to being a completely healthy baby.
And of course....lookng at the lights.
